The Basics
- Like Wrestler Ratings, each Championship starts at 100.00
- Above-average matches gain points and below-average ones lose them
- The current rating is a big factor: the higher the Championship Rating, the harder it is to gain points
- Matches under five minutes, dark matches or pre-show/buy-in matches do not count
- If the title is not defended in an eligible match for 6 weeks, the title becomes inactive â but when it re-enters, it remembers its rating
How Championship & Wrestler Ratings Work Together
Championship Ratings and Wrestler Ratings work in tandem. The CR acts as an amplifier to the overall points gain or loss for wrestlers:
- A Championship Rating over 100 in a points gain for wrestlers adds to this gain â showing the prestige of the title
- But losses are also exaggerated â reflecting the importance of a championship match
